Armchair Imagineering Series: World of Color
Armchair Imagineering is a term meaning you come up with ideas on your own. Heres an idea I thought of for a Maleficent encore in World of Color.
After the finale in World of Color but just before the Post-Show, the fountains suddenly light up in an eerily green with the fountains slowly turning on to the tune of Lana Del Rey's "Once Upon a Dream" and they dance to it with grace. As the music builds up, the moon shows up on Screamin's Loop with a silhouette of Maleficent and it turns into green orb and heads down the bay and it'll be represented by chaser fountains going across the bay going to a mist screen showing Maleficent played by Angelina Jolie. She vanishes from the screen and she says "There is evil in this world." as the Grid Fountains on either side take on two different colors. Red and White on one side representing the human army and dark green on the other side representing Maleficents Army of Darkness and they charge towards each other. When they meet at the middle, all goes quiet and Aurora comes on the left mist screen looking towards Screamin's loop looking at Maleficent who is up there. Aurora tells Maleficent that she doesn't have to be afraid to hide and Maleficent tells her that she is not afraid and that she will be if she comes out. All of a sudden the bay goes dark again as gigantic foot steps are heard. Then her raven flys on the right mist screen then a huge roar is heard as it transforms into a dragon and breaths fire, the flamethrowers shooting across the bay. After the huge inferno, Maleficent appears to the audience on the loop once again but this time grins and laughs as she disappears into the night and the three good fairies arrive in the center mist screen and use their magic to restore the bay for the Post Show.
